My patrols have gone fairly smoothly these past days. With the exception of strange green tracks running through Lower at one time, there has been little out of place. I spent much of my early days learning directly from Tigereye Wilks. I have heard strange rumors running through our ranks, however, concerning various members of the Company. These rumors concern me, but I have paid them little heed. Company business is Company business.
I have run across a more personal concern. As you know, both you and Amolef began my training in the Company. Lately, I have not been able to find anyone else with the experience or rank enough to complete my training process and allow me promotion to full Tigereye status. I know that the Captain could, but I do not wish to seem presumptuous by putting my concerns directly to him.
Could you suggest any ways to alleviate the situation and shed light on the rumors I've been hearing?
