i have no clue where else to ask for help every time i get online ON THIS GAME AS A WHOLE :evil: I GET GLITCHIN it makes rp impossible i reinstalled the game becasuse i couldn't get on and there were fricken errors with my game. NOW I CAN GET ON THEN # SECONDS LATER IT FRICKEN HAPPENS ...wait it happedned before i reinstalled...and also on another game i know man this is a problem i wasn't screwing with the game data it just happens after i played online for a few years PLEASE HELP

Well sounds like you need-

new graphics card more ram

errr... if your getting 1fps than perhaps a new computer lol. my pc is dated and quite alot by atleast 5 years and i can still run NWN on highest setting with at minimum during huge processor drains, manage to get minimum 20fps.

i believe i average at 190fps so not bad for something that has hardware from 98 in it ;)

Or you could have accidentally changed some config setting of Windows (whichever version you've got) which means that your graphics card isn't functioned, or connected properly, etc.

Try checking if all your drivers are correct, and nothing got corrupted anywhere.

Have you installed any programs which continually run in the background and use a lot of RAM ? Have you got the evil norton antivirus - that is one huge pain if your low on RAM? How much hard disk space have you got? Maybe you've installed too much software.

i'm gonna try a defragmentation see if that'll work and i have windows xp cable highspeed charter ...i don't screw with the config only if i want this t happen maybe theres so many data gaps hence the defrag

the fact is al my other games work. none of them don't have the problem i am having with this game. seriously would't the cpu clogged with dust effect other games? i need help now my dad and mom are saying that it is just a game and if other games work play those. *sniffs* persoanlly this is an out rage there was some serious rp with the charctor i was playing and i no longer have him. and yes my video card is on. i may need to check the hard coding for any prpblembut i am afraid of any problem that may arise from that course

In your original post you mentioned that this problem extended to "another game" that is not Neverwinter Nights. Has this issue been resolved?

my other game was jedi training academy (which sucks) and the issue is resolved for 3 seconds then he frame starts getting lazy then it sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooows down...damn cATS (goes of to scold cat) (comes back) as i was saying after i few minutes online or on a campiagn the trouble starts... i could reinstall the video drive but then i need parent permission and i could get it if they were home rioght NOW. or i could increase the hertz (refresh rate) on my cpu that may help...i have no idea what to do now i am at loss.

seriously this is not cool. neverwinter nights is the only game i know in and out 100% i did i search online and discovered the same problem under self help on bioware support and the issue was resolved by installing a new IDE drive. my paren'ts won't buy a IDE drive. this just plain out SWUCKS my dad does his best he is the household CPU wiz but even he is at loss....i am betting the computors just don't like this game. i am also betting if i install this on my dads BRAND NEW CPU the game would work. if i do a core purge the game will likely work. right? i don't wanna get grounded though. man thgis is so killing me

got some help from the arabel i am hoping it will work i will post if did or didn't to get the dm's to lock or keep this post open for more help

I've told you repeatedly what's wrong on the other boards. I know several people that had the same problem, and it has always been the same solution to it.

Another tip: Don't annoy or mock those who try to help you. I've come to the conclusion that I won't bother helping you any further, partially because of the stunt you made towards me on the other board. If you have a problem, you should appreciate that people take some time out of their day to look into your problem. Also, spamming the boards won't solve the problem any quicker.

BREAK THROUGH. well a small one apprently the problem is in the "sound" of the game mom disabled the sound and the game ran much smoother but not as smooth as i would like it to be. :o :o :o :o :o :o if ya got any more suggestion please tell me.

well apperntly i am outta ideas. its just a bummer that i can't play the game anymore..well i *could* but the game will have such a low frame rate and i couldn't follow anything icly or battle monsters. the breakthrough only works in the campaign.

it usually fix all the problems, which are not due to hardware.

incase NWN stuff up gen, this isnt really a technical solution, you put the disk in the drive... you wait for the game to crash or whatever... you hit the tower (or incase of Mac computers you punch the screen) and if your pc/mac stops working you pick up the tower... walk to the car... put the tower behind the wheel... reverse. Then you'll kno what your problem is :D
