To Scion Dungal Toboerski

a roll of plans in a scroll case along with a short letter is delivered to the House Toboerski for Scion Dungal Toboerski. The drawings are extremely neat, and the lettering well penned calligraphy

Scion Dungal Toboerski,

After speaking to one of your Knights about my review of some found plans for these braces (plans enclosed) I grew anxious and devoted myself to a complete analysis and redrawing of the plans with some changes on my part over the last day. I feel that they will strengthen the existing gate structures atleast by twofold to the amount of force they can withstand before yielding.

As noted in the plans, three braces per gate side, six total per gate. Holes for the support bars will need to be drilled and buffered with a roth hide plug in the end to support the braces when in the down position. The braces themselves are of steel (better) or iron (more maleable but more easily obtained) bar and would have to be forged or riveted together at the connection points. Although the cost of materials would be low, though the labor and forging may be expensive unless we can find a smith within the city that knows a way to this properly. I can still be reached at either the Rock Bottom, where I am staying, or at the Town Hall Archives and Library.

Thank you for your time Sir,

Mylee Davenport, Assitant Scribe and Archivist

I find these blue prints intriguing. We'll have to speak to visit the gates in person while you discuss your plans. I shall likely put the onus of this project into the hands of one of my capable aspirants to give him an opprotunity to prove his dedication to our order and our city.

I also desire to know if you are a skilled artisan. There is an image that we wish to have decorate the gates, and perhaps you can draw some sketches we can look over.

In regards,

Sir Dungal Toboerski Grand Magistrate of the Knights of Toboerski
