Letter to Mordur

*A letter is left for Commander Mordur with the Tigereye Guards*

Commander Mordur,

I simply wanted to serve you, be effective, and make a few coins along the way. But if what Amolef is saying is true, then there must be some way in which I have wronged you in the past. For this, I am truly sorry.

As I looked upon your personnel, I know that I am not as cold and calculated on inflicting harm on others; however I make this up in two ways. Firstly, I think things through before action. Secondly, I follow orders….always. Commander, I came to you because the Underdark is an austere and hostile place. Only through rule of a strong hand, will keep us out of the den of a beholder. And the pacifist ways of the Watch, will not suffice in this darkness for very long. For this reason…I have give you my Oath of loyalty. I understand that if you wanted me dead, you could have taken my head off with one swing on our fist encounter. As such, I will be present at my post…or until you make your summons for me. And if you should decide that I am given up to suffice other political powers to be, you can count on me giving them a ferocious fight that could only be consistent with a Tigereye.
