Rollo, Hennrick, whoever gets this, read it the SECOND you pick this up. As soon as I joined the Tigers I tried to start enlisting stouts because I knew you guys were honest and trust worthy. I am putting my faith in you, your Thane helped me this very night.

I’m a good guy, really. I always do my best and I hope I did it enough to make an impression on you. I hope enough upper folks will know I’m a good guy.

The most important thing… The Tigereyes are currently plotting to BLOW UP THE STAIRS BETWEEN UPPER AND LOWER. This is not a joke. The Tigers plan to make a play for power and split the city. Allies in this effort are Valerius in the crone and most of his employees. Most of the company knows about the plot, but not all of it. Kor’us is a Tigerfang and innocent of any wrong doing, he does not know anything. There is a tunnel under the red smiles base leading out of the city. It has been partially collapsed but could be re-opened quickly. This tunnel has long existed and I do not think it is impossible a force is planning to come through it. I think some of the Tigers allies outside the city may soon come through it. If you doubt me, go find the tunnel, it was recently collapsed with alchemist fire.

COOPERATE WITH THE UPPER GUARD AND GET MEN ON THE STAIRS IMMEDIATELY AND KEEP THEM THERE! Get them on the top and get them on the bottom and be ready for a fight. I do not know when this is going to happen but I think it may happen imminently, the plotting has been going on for a while. This is nothing to joke around with, you HAVE to do this.

Do you want a warning? THIS IS YOUR WARNING! The Tigers are GOING TO MAKE A PLAY FOR POWER AND IF YOU ARE CAUGHT NAPPING THE CITY IS GOING TO BE LOST. I think it is possible this may happen IMMINENTALY because they know I am alive and they know I know too much. They also know I escaped and can probably guess I am telling you everything.

I swear by CORELLEON AND THE SELDARINE that if I lie even an INCH in this may I burn in the hells for eternity. I swear by every god high and low this is all true to the best of my knowledge, may they all take turns torturing me for eternity if I lie.

The Tigers betrayed me, I’m not sure why but I can guess. I learned of the plot to destroy the stairs and thought Valerius was acting alone, thinking Mordur and the Tigers were still working for the city I WARNED HIM ABOUT IT. I learned of the Company’s attempts to cause strife between upper and lower and have disapproved with it loudly to Mordur.

They had me come down into the dungeon and tried to kill me. They underestimated me and I escaped without any trouble. I thought everything was going well, apparently they thought otherwise. I thought I could clean up the Company and clean up lower. Apparently they had other ideas. Maybe they are angry I told Mordur they were animals for using torture on Pathard. Yesterday they had Wilks try to give me as a present to the Red Smiles, I escaped, not realizing the Tigers had sent me to die.

I have a moderate amount of lesser dirt on the company besides the fact that the stairs are going to be destroyed soon and a foreign force working for the Tigers may be coming out through the Red Smiles base.

The second most important thing is that the Tigereyes are NOT the Tigereyes.

They are a mercenary company called the BROKEN SHIELDS. They were in a drow city. When the battle turned poorly they PICKED UP TAIL AND THEY RAN, the Captain renamed the company and they came to sanctuary. Documentation can be found in Fort Mur of the long standing mercenaries in this portion of the under dark. There is at least one book on the mercenary companies of the under dark sold by the merchants there. The Tigereyes, are not on it.

Third,, there is a guild of drow spies, assasins and priests of Ghaunadaur. They pay the Tigereyes to protect them. Finding them is incredibly easy, they hang out in the crone, all the time. Look for elves who cover their skin. They can be found in there almost every day if you go at the right times.

Neville is plotting to kill any stout he can manage to get his hands on.
