You asked me for a copy of my plan for this event. I reckon your inn would be the best place for it to start, anyway. You got any questions, well, I stay in your inn, I can meet you anytime. I was thinking we could set it going either today, tonight, tomorrow morning or the day after if you could get Cyrus or whomever is the proprietor of your establishment to agree.

Basically, I figure we need to do the following before we begin :-

1. Get Council approval
2. Get Tigereye approval
3. Get as many musicians, writers, artists and bards as we can. I know some kobolds that're pretty handy with the drums if you want to make it a multi-cultural thing, i'm sure any bard worth their salt would jump at the chance to showcase their talents.
4. Get the merchants together to agree to host a "Special auction" whereby unique items go for sale, with a certain percentage of any profit going to the auction house for its trouble.

Once we have this, we can then during the day start thinking about profit, by maybe doing the following :-

• Get some pitfights going
• Get the adventurers to try and put up any unneeded but useful wares for sale, or offer their wands and potions at discount rates
• Have said singers and bards entertain our guests, the best of which winning a fine set of instruments as a prize

And as for PR, i would personally see to :-

• All you can eat free food and drink for all arrivals
• The donation of sums of gold to the needy of lower
• The presence of the knights, paladins and clerics of the Triad gods to personally see to the healing of any ailment or affliction that any man suffers.

I told you my interest in all this, I think these are all reasonably achievable - it's just that without influence, any attempt I made to do this alone would be doomed from the get-go. Your inn gives this idea a thousand-fold more credibility, so I think it's worth a shot.
