To whom it may concern:

Yesterday a "Mercenary Terio" wearing Tigereye colors cast a Hold spell upon a dwarf in the street by the Lower market. The dwarf was wearing armor that was colored somewhat like the Tigereye's, and apparently the reason for this casting had been to ask him to change the colors. He left a bit of coin for dye and walked off past the fortress, laughing.

Lance-Constable Mayna witnessed this spell's effects and the conversation. Unless/until the victim of the Hold spell is needed, he wishes to remain anonymous. There is a third witness that knows the lance-constable.

Upon conviction and payment of fine, I desire no reward.
