*letter to the spellguard*

To the spellguard,

A human female wizard named Annia Braegen casted spells in the crone, including invisibility. There were numerous witnesses. She was fined 150 gold for illegal casting as well as separate, smaller fine for fleeing the scene of the crime when a Tigereye asked her to stop. She is not registered with the spellguard and according to her own admission, sees no reason to register. Enclosed is the 150 gold for illegal casting((trashed it)).

Amolef,

Thank you for your compliance with the law. The fine has been dealt with accordingly. Next you see her, ask her to display her Spellguard Registration Badge. If she does not have one, fine her 25 coins for non-compliance with the law. Continue to do so until she registers.

There is some friction between the spellguard and the Tigers as of late. Simply put, this is Strife's fault because he is stirring the pot. I am trying to calm things down, can I expect cooperation from ANYONE in the spellguard, such as the more level headed members like yourself?

*a sealed letter is sent to the Tigereye fortress*

The woman mentioned by Tigereye Amolef turned herself into the Spellguard and claimed to have been arrested for using a potion of invisibility. The use of potions emits a negliable amount of detectable magic and is thus not against the law, I would advice the Tigereyes to take notice of this before arresting citizens for such things. The woman also mentioned that Tigereye Amolef cast a flurry of magic missiles at her, one more report of his inability to comply to the laws set in order to protect Sanctuary. The Tigereye company will pay 200 gold as a fine for his actions unless you decide to refute this accusation.

Truth be told, I am getting quite tired of receiving these reports of unauthorized magical use by Tigereye members and will start looking into the matter personally if it continues. That being said, a Councillor has reported that he saw Tigereye Menthur casting spells outside the Wards and the company is thus to pay a fine of 400 gold for his two outbursts (Which include his spellcasting within the Seeker compound). I will be arriving in the Tigereye compound later today and thus the amount can be offered to me in person at that time.

Amolef,

I will hear your case in the hope of eliminating this "friction", as long as you are willing to hear my own.
