Bilby's quest appears to give a double quest journal for the entire quest except the final completion, where One quest journal is updated and one is left as "open".

having two in the first place is the bug.

Is this a one time thing or is it consistant. If it is consistant, can you point out the exact timing of the journals popping up, and can you see if there is any difference at all in the journals?

I just did Bilby's for the first time and it happened to me too. Straight off, double quest entry on the journal, exactly the same text in each entry.

Same thing happened to me too. Two journal entries.

On a related, but possibly different theme, I always see two status messages appear re: quests... i.e. maximum level cap for this quest is 4. (not sure if that's the exact wording, but whatever appears in yellow on the right-hand side dialogue window) However, Bilby's is the only quest I've seen appear twice in my journal.
