Request:
A usable stove in the inns so that players can cook raw meat, etc that they pick up. The script exists in the brewery, but as far as I know there's no place to cook within sanctuary (w/o making a fire).
Alternatively, since people coming in to cook their own food would be disruptive to the business - perhaps Gobbler's pot might be made into a point that one can use for cooking?

There are places to cook. And it's good, too.
But now why would Cookie let you cook in her oven. You're just gonna have to ask the Tigereye's when you want your fried chicken.

Chicken! 20 gp at the Watch House! Come and get it!
(Seriously though, the Suggestion has merit, there need to be more stoves publically available, but the Rock Bottom isn't the place for them, I think.)

I guess my question is how this actually adds anything to the game? Are there going to be plots run around stoves?

Well i suppose some one could hold a stew making contest.

Happy to add a stove if someone can think of an appropriate place to do so.
Cooky's kitchen or Gobbler's pot belong to NPCs who probably wouldn't want them used by you, so it would need to be something else.

I also want fire pits and animated logs, when me and my friends loiter around the Rock Bottom it'll give me something to click on while I wait for them to idle.

Well, the HoL might be a place to put it - considering that the HoL seems to operate as a homeless shelter, some of the vagrants staying there may wish to prepare their own meals. That is, of course, if the HoL is willing...

I don't think the HoL wants any fires within a set distance of their establishment. >_>

Fires in the HoL? Heck no!
Oh right... 4 braziers in the centre of the vagrant beds... a bunch of candles burning away by the wall.
Certainly not. No way would the HoL allow a flame in their beloved house - especially not one in a pot-bellied stove...

yes, there should be a place for it, in a closed building... perhpas the mausoleum? j/k
as it seem, the inns are somewhat homes for many. as long as the meals are not free, the oven should be lent for its costumers (lets say, if you are staying there (using the waypoint) you can use the oven for a minimal fee of, lets say, 7 coins? )

Alternatively, there is a refugee with a fire by the pump house - making it a cooking spot shouldn't interfere much. And since the fire isn't owned by anyone in particular, I can't see how using it should be an issue with any NPC.

Have you tried cooking raw meat on a campfire? You don't need a fancy oven cooker device!
There are, indeed, also usable grills in various places. The NPCs who own the inns aren't going to let random strangers come in and begin cooking, however. The one thing that I do need to do about this (low priority though) is to give a grill to the PCs associated with the Pissing Crone. I've been meaning to do that for a while.

I guess you could use the stoves or the camp fires to prepare ingredients for the herblore/alchemy skills thats being implemented, maybe a certain regent needs to be boiled first before it is suitable for use, or its unuseable in it's solid form.

I don't think it will be worth the effort to script, since it won't add much to the game. If you really want to be a chef, just pretend you cooked it, eventually roleplay it out. That has always worked for me (I had a character who was a chef).
