*a letter to Santegue Heralder*

"Hello.

I have given a great deal of thought to your offer and in the end, decided it is not something I really wish to be involved in.

You need not worry about my lips opening to anyone, they are quite sealed.

I wish you and your... employer future sucess.

I do have one question however I hope you might answer, the old woman at the duel.... do you know who she truly was?

-Amolef"

Amolef,

It is unfortunate that you feel this way. It would have been a fine deal indeed. I suppose that, in time, you'll find your own path to the surface, perhaps in a century or two. As for the old woman, I've not a clue. If you suspected her to be nothing but a cleverly concealed arcanist, you should have simply dispelled the illusion or the transmutation when you had the chance.

Sincerely,

[Signed extravagantly, a wizard's sigil burned into the parchment below the signature] Santegue Heralder
