However the tree's supposed to work, it isn't. If you bash it long enough, sure, it gets mad at you, but there's no way to complete the quest.

Also, you can't abort the quest, and I think you might not be able to add people to it either.

I've tested this quest pretty recently, and you can complete it. It does need a cancel option, though, we agree on that.
