Esteemed Councillors,
Thankyou for your letter. I am glad the work I have done was of good order, but it comes with the job. As they say, someone's got to do it. I among others, am glad this time has passed, although I'm not too happy how.
Although working out who helped the most, I can safely say a good proportion of the town played some part in assisting me with the word we put in to defend our ground and it's contents. Here are some of the people I couldn't have done without:
Gloinar Runehammer, for his assistance with defending the town valiantly. He also put alot of work into learning and helping me train others with using our siege weaponry, which came in useful in the battle we sustained.
Kain Di'Sur, a good leader in training, he knows how to think on his feet and has helped me when my time was limited with organising the defences. He fights strongly and helped push back the goblin assault that hit the gate, sometimes fighting on his own to take out the catapults attacking us.
Kor'us Corcael, Throughout the Drow situation, he fed the Watch critical information reguarding the threat we faced and it's movement and situation. Most of his knowledge was put into the reports I sent around as briefings.
Cail Durris, the Watch Sergeant who has battled against almost everything wanting to break into this town. He puts his best foot foward and will never turn his back on the enemy. Cail defends the town with a strength and willingness matched only by his fearsome combat skills.
Although there are plenty more people who deserve rewards, these are some who have helped me the most and are a welcome sight in this town.
In addition, planning still continues with the defences and a man by the name of Marten Briars I have found to be a master strategist who is abundant with ideas for new defences that we can put forward to be produced. If anything, I'd like to see him contacted in the future by the council to assist an engineer with desiging of some of the new defences to protect out livelyhood.
Sergeant Marshall
