Notices are placed in nearly all trafficked areas of Upper Sanctuary and on the inside of the upper gate. The notices that are inside buildings have a light enchantment placed upon them, causing them to glow and shimmer slightly as one might walk past. Most are in the line of sight of patrolling Watchmen or those who are stationed on duty.
Adventurer’s and Traveler’s Notice
All passage to any areas west of Sanctuary, including all passages between Sanctuary and Traensyr, should be suspended unless a sound and justified reason can be made. If any citizens, or groups of citizens, feel a trek is absolutely necessary, you are encouraged to report the reason for travel prior to your expedition to a councilor, watchman, or Spellguard Agent. You should prepare to state your intentions as well as an estimated time of return before departing.
It is reminded that any interaction with any identifiable Drow forces, whether witnessed or through direct interaction, should be immediately reported to city officials. The remuneration for willfully endangering Sanctuary is exile or death, any interaction with the Drow is inevitably endangering – and no deed will go unnoticed. Willful engagement with the Drow forces is also explicitly forbidden and entirely advised against. Bringing the Drow to our doorsteps through hostility is endangering as well.
No citizen is capable of controlling the situation alone.
