I wish to report that this evening a halfling by the name of Frem Hill threatened to kil me in cold blood as I was a friend of Sorceror Frubo Hill.

I believe this threat to be real as it was said with careful thought and drawn steel, the man also confessed to having killed other peopel and would do what ever was necessary to bring his brother back.

This is some sort of family feud but people are being threatened with serious malice.

These threats were made inthe presecnce of Priestess Jirala - the recent bride of Paladin Kaddaz who is able the verify this threat as deadly serious.

This man also spoke of a gang being formed and doing whatever it takes to carry out his plans.

Jirala and I tired to report theis to Watchman Taddle and his response was gails of laughter - apaprantly a halfling threatening to cut an unarmed and unarmored lady's throat is a source of great amusement to him.

I swear that everything I have written is true and unblemished by my Holy Oaths to Torm.

Regrettably, just threatening to kill someone is not a crime in itself. When physical tangible damage is dealt to one's person or property, there are grounds for prosecution. With that said, self-defense is not a crime, and should someone be attacked, subduing the attacker, or even putting the attacker down permanently if necessary, will be seen on the favorable side of any court room proceeding. Just be sure you're prepared to justify any excess of force you use.
