The journal of Alexander 'Alex' Hollows

Found within Alex's rented room five days after the last entry at the Pissing Crone Inn. It reads:

Day 1: After my break out from slavery I was lucky enough to get away via a cave-in that stopped my drow slavers and set me free. Although a few days went by of searching for civilisation and just when I was about to lose hope I stumbled apon a dwarf to who told me of a town that is stationed nearby. Which I then set off to look for. A group made up of two ladys nammed Meliana 'Melly' Dartirr, Mana Grein and a man nammed Lomeldor 'Meldor' Selven showed me to the town called Sanctuary. Later that day I was wounded by a were-rat and had to be taken to see a lady called Linda Kelssa in a house of light whose friend Daristin Wensbane healed my alement. Im pretty sure the lady called Melly likes me. I am now part of meldors (I nick named him 'Cappy' as he keeps refering to himself as a captain) group which he consistantly refers to us as a crew on board a ship or boat. Stayed at the Pissing Crone Inn.

Day 2: Woke up, did a few jobs and the like then met up with a few fellow adventurers and well adventured for a spell. Met a nice old man by the name of Sebastian 'Seb' Kole gave him some cheese as he looked very hungry. After that did some adventuring with a group of would be adventurers called Valaun Valaronat, Merien Raine and Kathrine 'Kitty' Steel, it was a good day.

Day 3: Met up with Cappy again, and we went on an adventure with a not so friendly dwarf into the crypts of hoar. So we did that then rested at the Pissing Crone Inn. I have a deck of tarot cards and we drew cards i got the 'Queen of staves' and cappy got 'The moon'. When cappy left i went to the 'Blue mushroom inn' and gees its a long way away. A man named Jarai Dhaan lead me there and lead me back safely only ran into a few rats. Today was just another day.

Day 4: Woke up got a sending about some undead crisis, I attended the meeting about it. We had to defend off wave after wave of undead.. We finally came out victorious after an epic battle. I became poisioned or diseased and spend the night at the Rock Bottom Tavern.

Day 5: Woke up sick as a dog.. Went off in search of a cure or tonic drink.. Instead I found a strange slime trail. I followed it to investigate the situation, only to find out that whatever it was killed two armed gaurds and left into the ruins. Apon further investigation I found it was malfunctioning golems, but I asked myself what had caused them to malfunction. I rallied a group of adventurers to help me investigate. So we are about to set off into the ruins and find out the details..

Day 6: Today I Woke up and couldnt remember what happened yesterday with the slime and golems.. All i remember is being knocked down hard by one of the golems that had decided to leave the ruins. Then this morning I woke back at my tavern I couldnt work out if was a dream or if it was real. I was looking around my tavern and stumbled apon some tunnels that lay just under the building. The tunnels seam to lead around under the city itself. It look like someone.. or something lives down there. Outside the tunnels I met a halfling by the name of Lobo, today he tried to steal my torch and I chased his arse down and got it back. So I started to talk to him as there was no harm so there should be no foul. It turned out he is from the surface world and got lost down here in the underdark after venturing into a cave.. bad luck for him. I did a job for Murpor the barkeep of the steady hand tavern in the cannal lower section of sanctuary and he paid me with an odd object which he then went onto talk about "..a place where blind fish swim in lightless depths, there is a place for you to visit. You will walk far outside this town to get there, but you will find that the destination is within your own mind..." and apperently the reward he gave me will be my first step to unlocking "...the door of self-perception." whatever that means.. I believe ive been conned.

Day 7: Today i woke up at the Pissing Crone Inn and spoke to a lady called Alylara and a kobold called Nipiix which I got to know for a bit and we went on a few jobs together. The pay was real good on them too, I think I will adventure with them again.

Day 8: Woke up again at the Pissing Crone Inn and I saw Alylara there again with Nipiix the kobold. We set out on an adventure to save a young man for Miss Cole. We had to take this portal to some weird lizard folk area and fight them off.. there was no sign of the man. We then returned home. Got paid and slept.

Day 9: Today I awoke out in the wilderness with out money or food and absolutly no idea how I got there.. I managed to out run a huge hunting spider that was attacking random beings. I bearly stumbled into town as I was very baddly wounded. I finally managed to round up some gold by giving a necklass that was magical to Melly who lent me 100 gold coins. I healed up and went to sleep.

Day 10: Up at the rock bottom tavern I met a dwarf by the name of Sunder who then ventured with me and Valaun to find some missing dwarfs at a pig farm. Found out that the farmers had killed them for pig feed. Stayed at the Pissing Crone Inn.

Day 11: Woke up at the Pissing Crone Inn and left in search of an adventure. Found it in the company of three dwarfs and a hin. Not the best group to adventure in as I set off two traps and they blammed it all on me. Also one of the fat dwarves set off a big fire ball trap and it blew me away.. I swear I lost some brain cells then, im sure i died and went to some other plane... Finaly we escaped where we were and the job ended up paying very well once we got home. I decided since ive been spending most my time at the Pissing Crone Inn that I would rent a room there. So I went to sleep for the night.

Day 12: Today was much like anyother I woke up in the same place I went to sleep. Old seb told me of a drow scout spotted somewhere outside the city, so we are gonna set off to go investigate it with in group of adventurers...

Alexander Hollows Was found dead filled with drow poison arrows later that day.
