I know that someone suggested, quite rightly so, that the inns should have different prices because they of different qualities.
What I didn't realize was that a better quality bed would also give a better quality sleep. So technically to follow this model, the Rock Bottom, while costing more, should also add the benefit of gaining more HP back than at the crone, and perhapse a +1 to removing the effects of poison or disease.
Just a thought.

Not a bad idea at all. I like it.

Then shouldnt a similar logic extend to faction bunks as well?

I'd think bunks would give even LESS than the Pissing Crone.

I don't actually think I'm in favour of this. The fact that the Crone is cheaper than the Rock doesn't mean the beds are worse. It means that more people stay at the Rock. Who's to say Spencer doesn't just pocket all that extra gold? He's a mean little one, I tells ya'.
Also, if this is added, resting in the wilds should also be changed. A bedroll sure isn't as comfortable as a bed (and the same goes for mere rugs!), and add to that the level of stress that undoubtedly follows by sleeping where a deep lizard could randomly stroll by.

I'd thought about this previously, and I think it should be up to the DM team to decide which Inns offers better comfort, etc, and which Inns simply overcharge. I think there should be a variety.
Maybe otherwise : there could be several types of rooms in each Inn - say at Rock bottom, you're basic room at 12 gold, then a deluxe room (en suite with powered showers and air conditioning 8) ) , which will restore more HP, but at (an arbitrary) 30 gold lets say.

Sure, why not. Added. Different locations will modify the amount of hitpoints that you heal when resting.
Qualities of rooms isn't likely to happen; too much effort for something too trivial (even for me).
