To sheriff Walters

I have heard, that Sergeant Ambler has died in circumstances that have not been cleared. I demand an explanation to this, and all the files that are related to his death.

I wish them to be send to me at the Town Hall.

Councilor Kayragh

[the letter is reposted, with an addendum]

I demand an answer to this, now.

Councilor Kayragh

After finishing a pleasant snack of applecap-smoked deep pig on lightly toasted fungus-loaf, all washed down with a bottle of fresh bubbling springwater, Sheriff Eugene Walters pens a response.

Councilor,

Forgive the delay in response. I have been busy planning the defense of our city. As you know, Ambler's death saddened me greatly. Although it was a murdering criminal who killed him, unfortunately it was a death that could have been prevented but was not due to an tragic breakdown of strategic command-control operational procedure, particularly pursuant to interior policy re: jurisdictional issues, Policy 1A-b3.

The entire incident is presently being incoporated into a training manual for the benefit of the next generation of the Sanctuary Watch, and I'll be sure to send along a copy when this manual is completed.

Sincerely yours,

Sheriff Walters
