This just crossed my mind now. it would be neat ifthe spell dispel magic and its varients dealth magic damage to the creatures on this quest. Since they are supposed to be magical illusions? Is that even possible? it would be a nice bit of flavour if it is.
Clown Land Suggestion
I'm a little curious on what would happen if you casted true seeing and took the quest. At least what would supposed to happen.
Send a DM tell before you try it some time.
Also I think that any spell (like Dismissal) that can send away summons should also send away those clowns similar to a Cleric Turn Undead. Also an Illusionist should have some kind of advantage in that zone since he can see through most of the illusions and thus wouldn't be as affected by them as non-illusionist mages.
Then we get into will saves and all that. The llusionist mage should only have an advantage if he has arcane defence against illusions.

No one can cast true seeing but tons of people can polymorph into an umberhulk....
Umberhulks only get treu seeingbecause of tremor sence its not true seeing as spell.
Aaaanyway, suggestion noted. I'll think about it. And no, Polymorphed Umber Hulk wizards don't get True Seeing for free.
