Rangers and Druids Resting

I see no posts anywhere on this, so I'm posting a question. What is required to rest outside of an inn? What items and what things.

What about rangers and druids? What do they need to rest?

Much thanks

First, you can't rest in the cities except at the inns. Any character can rest in the underdark provided they have oil, something to burn with the oil, and a bedroll.

Rangers and druids, I believe, dont' need the oil or bedroll to rest in the underdark. But someone who has played one of these more often should chime in here about now to confirm this or not.

Rangers need a bedroll, druids don't need anything to rest in the wilds.

I have seen druids resting within the city itself... is this based on tileset? Should druids be required to rest in an inn if they're in the city?

otherwise, I think the system is great.

Yeah lower sanctuary and the canal ward appears to allow resting I'm not sure if this is intentional or a bug. I'd never rest in such places personally. I also used to find myself a "nook" of sorts in the wilds to sleep in.

Yeah resting in the wilds of the underdark is quite dangerous. Usually I don't recommend new players attempt it until they've become familiar with how this modules underdark works.

There are safer places to rest for rangers and druids, you just have to find them, and test the resting in different places. Of course, preferably with someone standing over and watching.

Feel free to sleep in the streets of Lower Sanctuary. And wake up in the fugue. >_>

you can rest at Fort Mur....just make sure ya know what ya doing there are several caves on the low road ya can rest (that is my secret lol) in ...just send in an half orc to make sure there clear there disposable Wet land cave gurizhalies (whatever her name is) druid cave it is perfectly safe though lately she has gone missing the high road i know lil of though it seemed like a safe place...for somene who knows the way

I've rested in back-alleys of Lower Sanctuary a lot since it made sense seeing my character was sort of grown up on the streets often with no place to go. Just think of the Ranger class more like a Hobo class :)
