Deities and Dogma

Not sure where to post this:

I realize the deities have a history and a dogma in the 'getting started' - 'deity' area... but I'm not sure I completely understand how to roleplay as a follower of each one. My example is I'm a TN cleric of Kossuth, and I'm not informed enough on how to act. Am I a pyro? Do I go around repeating 'be pure! burn yourself'

I'm not the best roleplayer, as some DM's who recognize my name would know. But I have ambition to improve, and I'd like a little info, or where I can go for info, on improving my Kossuth Cleric Concept. I want to become the part. Perhaps a sticky of a place to learn more? Or perhaps when Mr. Cheezit randomly finds himself with 8 hours of nothing to do and no motives to spend his time on entertainment, and is compelled to write a thourough essay on each deity, he will? Who knows.. if you point me in the right direction, maybe I can write one and give it to you guys.

Just curious

Thanks,

-Dune Shepherd

While I would enjoy providing all of our players with more detailed information about the various clergy found throughout our setting, and may eventually expand upon the entries in our Faiths of Faerun section, I simply do not have the time to devout to such a massive project. However, I am always willing to discuss an individual deity’s dogma, their typical worshippers, and/or their clergy’s role with a player to help them better understand their character’s religion and improve their role-playing.

I frequent our IRC channel #efu, which can be found on the DarkMyst network, and would be happy to discuss the various religions in our setting with anyone. If you have a specific question about something, feel free to send me a private message.
