Letter to the Seekers

Esteemeed Master Seeker, First Class.

I write to you to respectfully request any maps or journals that you may have collected on the Greater Dunwarren Area. If there is a fee, I'll gladly pay for the copying.

Yours in grace, Tip Deeplington. UUGCGMGDESE103

*letter is received*

Sirs,

I write to you with regards to my letter of several weeks past, wherein I inquired on the possibility of receiving any maps currently in your possession of the Dunwarren Ruins, or any of the environs beneath it.

Is there a problem in fulfilling my request, or at the very least penning a polite reply? If I have committed a faux pas in making the request in this fashion, please inform me and I will set my undersecretary to the task of completing the necessary form and getting the appropriate signatures.

Politely awaiting your reply,

Tipperarry Deeplington Grand-High-Exalted-Master Gem Cutter United Union of Gem-Cutters and Gear-Makers of the Greater Dunwarren Area, excluding surrounding environs, Local 103.

*letter is received again, the next time the gnome comes in he's asked in a quiet voice by tandra the barkeep where replies should be sent*

The red-faced gnome, cursing his undersecretary the entire time, politely admits to staying at the Rock Bottom.

Sir Deeplington,

As you are well aware, shifts in the surrounding caverns happen quite frequently due to collapses, tremors and the like. Because of this, most of the maps we have on the surrounding areas are quite old and have not been recently updated. Our scouts tend to work mostly from memory, as maps are quickly outdated.

Here is an old map from a section of the Dunwarren ruins you are likely acquainted with.

You'll note that it too is out of date.

This is of course provided free of charge since it is likely of little use.

Humblest regards - Grey Jenkins
