From what I take it, Bestow Curse has not been changed in EFU.
I personally think the spell should be more powerful. My recommendation is to let the curse go over resets. This really gives the effect of a curse.
I'm sure there'd be ways of removing it (priests, the various temples...).
If not, perhaps make it -4 all stats?

I agree that the duration should be made permanent as well. (If its actually possible to have it last over a reset).

Bestow Curse is powerful enough as it is, leave it at that. What I would like to see changed though, is that everyone can see a victim is cursed due to the red numbers/ spell icon. But Arkov was going to do something with Curses a while back, changing the system it works I believe. How's that going?

A divine curse is a powerful thing. If I cast one I want it to last longer than a few IC hours. Making them (assuming its possible) last over resets is a good thing, IMO.

No, a Divine curse -can- be a powerful thing. I don't see the 1st level Cleric spell Bane or Doom being powerful too (although relatively seen, they are in fact powerful). If Bestow Curse would be more powerful, it would be a higher level spell. WotC balanced it out, putting it in the IVth circle spells. As for duration, nothing much that can be done about it now, with resets and all. I would support some kind of invisible token perhaps that replicates the Curse effect.

Yes, I disagree with making it more powerful. Especially -4 to all abilities. Lasting over a reset or (more importantly) a crash would be great though.

Minus two to all abilities is already great. That's a -1 to AB, -1 to all saves (-2 for paladins), -2 HP per level (enough to kill anyone Near Death already), likely to automatically Encumber the movement of most characters who are struggling to carry all the loot they've got already, -1 AC (-2 for monks), -1 damage, -1 to -3 spells memorized or castable per day for casting classes..
That's enough to really tip the balance in a battle, but letting it last over a reset isn't as wretched as long as a local temple will remove the curse for you otherwise you could seriously handicap someone's PC.

Yeah it also takes -1 on all the skills -.-
I don't think I like the idea of persistant curses.
Although it would make those "Potions of Boon" more worthwhile, seriously, I never needed one of those, myself.

I wouldn't mind seeing it last over resets, it can already easily be removed by atleast one temple in the city.

I'm not really sold on the "(...) is a powerful thing. If I cast one I want it to (...)" sort of justification for making spells more powerful, but I'll look into it.
Bestow Curse has already been expanded to work on items.

Does it have the same effect (-2 all stats) on the item?

Does it cost gold to enchant, or just effects the item?
