I've recently come across some information you may find helpful or not. I think you shall though, as the Tigereye Mercenaries attempted to steal it from me twice to own it.

Its a simple letter, but it hints at some important and powerful devices and secrets beneath your feet. I'm willing to sell it to you, either in gold but far more interesting is an offer of acquaintence. I made enemies to procur this information for you, I'll want protection and perhaps a seat beside you on the Council at the next election.

The information points toward solving the disappearance of the city's inhabitant gnomes--as well as powerful artifacts they left behind still unstudied.

Councilman, recently the Tigereyes led a group of sellswords to a goblin fortress that was aware of Sanctuary's presence and raiding the city--due in large part to the Tigereyes leading them here.

The fortress was attacked, but rather than killing our foes and dangerous ones at that. The Tigereye mercenary in charge of the group made a deal with the goblins, in exchange for 30% of the profit on the goblin slave trade in the future--the goblins were allowed to go free.

Some may not look askance to that, but what is troubling is that later when I led a group of men back to learn more of the situation it was discovered that the goblins had made an alliance with the drow. Before any drow were able to escape, they were killed by my hand and those I'd brought along.

Someone looking to embarass or even gain influence over the Tigereyes may be pleased to hear of their recent "mistake" that nearly endangered Sanctuary; provided someone who hears this information remembers who willingly and freely provides it.
