A letter written in an elegant handwriting.
Tarsakh the 4th, Year 151, 1373 of Dale Reckoning.
Esteemed Councillor Geigne,
the folk within Sanctuary seem to hold the belief you are not present in our city anymore, having traded it in for the surface. I understand you have undertaken an expedition to the surface with a group of other individuals, and it is thought you never returned from this. I, however, know this is false, having seen you pass by me just a day ago.
Perhaps a friendly warning, that remaining in this obscurity may severly harm the chances of being re-elected, since no one (but me, of course) would vote for a man they no longer belief to be present.
In hopes of receiving a reply,
A signature, with long and swirling letters, depicting: 'De la Rey'.

No reply is ever given. The Office of the Herald would probably write to you saying that Councilor Geigne is no longer present.

The Office of the Herald writes to you saying that Councilor Geigne is no longer present.
Esteemed Agent de la Rey,
Your letter has been delivered to Councilor Geigne's office. Please be aware that he has not been seen at the Town Hall since departing on a supposed expedition to the surface lead by Jake "the Whiskers." As far as I know, he is presumed dead.

A reply is sent to the Office of the Herald, written in an elegant handwriting.
Tarsakh the 5th, Year 151, 1373 of Dale Reckoning.
To whomever this may concern,
on the morning of Tarsakh the 3th I have seen Councillor Jacob Geigne passing me, in the direction of the Town Hall, while trying to stay unnoticed.
I do not know why these rumours continue to excist, but I bloody well wish to know what this cover-up is all about.
Serving Sanctuary,
