Report: The Murder of Agent Strife Date: Third of Tarsakh, 1373 DR
On the second of Tarsakh an un-named gnome began sending public messages concerning a raffle, a fair, and a flying sorceress, all to be shown on the shore of Dark Lake. Upon arrival to the area advertised, a different gnome in Spellguard Associate scale armor approached visitors and asked for the entry fee of fifteen coins of gold. When the visitors approached the fair, two gnomes were near mushrooms, their backs to the shore, beginning a raffle. The first gnome, the advertiser, was wearing pink and had a large mustache and no hair, the second was very fat and was covered entirely by armor. These gnomes gave away their raffled items, assumed to be the belongings of Agent Strife, including a bag of roughly two thousand coins. All the while, the gnomes were acting very pleasantly and claiming this event to be a Spellguard fund-raiser. Behind the auctioneers were two women, dressed in blue, slumped near a catapult. After raffling off all of their wares, the gnomes commenced to explain to the onlookers that the Sorceress and her assistant would fly across the Dark Lake, and then fly back. After launching the women out of the mechanism, the gnomes left, using invisibility potions, and the women plummeted into the water. When the bodies were recovered, they were wearing the same clothes but appeared to be men, one a dwarf, the other Strife. Both were returned to Sanctuary.
