Yes i know that you can find weapons on some of the quests that have special properties and some of them are just great (Had a +1D4 Crit Warhammer when Thorigan was alive) but it would be cool if you could perhaps buy weapons that have maybe not as good a property but better than the standard ones available from the market stalls.
Perhaps as a reward for some kind of quest. Like the Druagar Smithy in the mines. He always says prefered costomers only but if there was somekind of quest you could do for him that would allow you access to his stock, such as with the sewer town key. Doing something for him could allow you to buy better weapons.
Obviously these would be much more expensive as the standard weapons are anyway so for example (If i get price wrong it's just because i cant remember what thay cost)
A Longsword costs 40gp so a Masterwork version (+1 to Hit roll) could cost perhaps 200 to 250 gp. (A longsword costs around 10gp in the pen and paper version with masterworks costing and extra 150gp but you get the idea).
Anyway what do you all think.

Like finding certain weapons (Silver Daggers, Half-Orc Rapier or Digested Shortsword) on quests?

Yeah, except Masterwork is universal. A weapon of that sort, even if only +1, is more likely in the 10k range, and you can be pretty sure you'll never see one, let alone hold one.

+1 to hit roll will never happen on efu against "all" there are plenty vs type. The dms have stated in the past that the introduction of such things would make people throw away thier silver daggers, hand axes etc.
However there is supposedly a system being put in where items can be crafted (or enhanced not ure) to be against a certain type of creature, I could forsee silver weaponry of all kinds granting +1 vs shapechangers. Maybe even an enhancement system will be placed in to enhance weapons against orcs and such creatures that are'nt naturall feeble to certain mundane metals.

I know there -had been- some +1 to attack roll weapons in the past, however this is very exceptional and very unlikely to happen.

+1 to attack roll is a world away from +1 enhancement.

+1 to attack rolls goes straight through damage reduction, making it very close to +1 enhancement (just one point less of damage).
Maybe we'll add weapons that give +1 damage, though!

Sorry, kind of inappropriate, but curiosity prevails...
+1 attack cuts through a +1/10 reduction (just an example)? Is that a hardcoded mistake, or are Masterwork weapons, as per the PHB, so good that they cut through weak magical barriers like lycanthropes possess? It doesn't make a whole lot of sense for REALLY well made steel/iron to cut through the magical hide of the Chosen like magic and silver...

Its not pnp, its a hardcoded issue that appeared because of the way nwn handles damage reduction. The bonus applied from a +1 enhancement weapon is "split in half" and applied as a damage and an attack bonus. The game looks at the attack bonus in reguards to whether you should bypass DR or not. There was a time when bardsong and bless let you bypass damage reduction. This time has passed but it still applies to +1 ab weapon modifyers on the weapon itself.

It's a bioware screwup that made +1 to hit go through damage reduction. However, it's why we make silver weapons +1 to hit vs shapeshifters and cold iron weapons +1 to hit vs outsiders. It makes it so we can have "non-magical" weapons that are really good against what they are intended to fight against.

The +1 to damage sounds best. And make it expensive at that if it is to be available to all.
I remember crafting "iron" weapons on another server that had the +1 to hit property. It was ridiculous how iron weapons suddenly slew demons and lycanthropes like Zerelde on a good day.
