Well, in order to get back into character with Laramie, I took a few minutes and started to draw him. I felt that there was more to him than the avatars of NWN showed, so I wanted to depict him. I'm sort of an amateur artist; I mostly only work in pencil, sometimes I color with colored pencil. Anyhow, I just wanted to put this up and also give the word to anyone who would like a drawing done of their characters. This summer I sort of feel like trying some new perspectives and honing my hand/feet/face drawning skills (because those are the nasty hard parts). I'm not planning on churning drawings out, so they may come along slowly if alot of people ask or if I feel lazy/have other things to do. It's just a hobby. Give a description or something and I'll see what I can do.
Also, if any other artist wants to do this, or simply has character depictions they want to share post here please. I know Hookswords has some amazing work, and I'd bite my own ass if we were the only people who like to draw around here. :)
Here is Laramie Lathae.

Oh, and any critiques are really welcome. I'm still getting a hang of getting proportions and perspectives right (even though this drawing doesn't have much depth of perspective in it).
Edit: Drawing updated.

That's pretty fantastic. Alot better than anything I can do, for sure. I lack a lot of attention to the minor details and such.
I'd love to see a drawing of Cail, since I typically can't get a good idea of what he really looks like.
If you would draw him, it'd be fantastic. Reckon I'll PM you the details.
And: The feet are too small. :)
Supposed to be roughly 2/3 the length of the shins as I recall.

That is pretty fantastic. As Kotenku said, feet are too small. And I kind of find it a bit weird to see his body facing one way but his head facing the other.
But yes, I wish I had some drawing skills. If you could draw Jacob Geigne then you'd become my new best EFU friend! ;)
I'll PM you details in the morning.

Tip:
To draw a human body, draw the head first as a circle. To get proportions right, just be sure that the lenght of the character equals to the height of 8 heads (drawn earlier) stacked on each other.

You make Lathae look too manly!
:) Very good.

Thanks everyone. I fixed the foot, and about eight heads seems right, which is actually the case if you take into account the thickness of the helmet atop of his head. The pose was meant to be dynamic I suppose. Several artists I aspire to make amazingly contorted figures who look very natural, but at the same time, like they are in the middle of an action. I was trying something like that. I'm trying a more thoughtful depiction of Laramie, and I think I can do Cail since I know him (*Scowls*), but Jacob I am unfamiliar with.
Remember, this isn't my thread. Other artists, flaunt your stuff!

Feet should be the same lenght as the head in drawings, so then the proportions will be right, at least with those. So I was adviced by someone who knew what she was talking about :)

You don't want a Chibi Ivan? :(

(Oh and to not go off topic too much, from the point of view of a neophyte drawer such as myself I totally like that!)

I'd like to see an Ivandur 'Before', and 'After', too.

PM Hookswords and nag him Inquis...tell him the evil mages Sherry and Sed have combined their dark magics and laid a Geas on him...he may draw no further until Ivandur has been penned.

Its unclear where the weight of his body is. His right foot should be slightly lower (or his left higher - right now the heels are on the same horizontal line). Keep in mind with these types of stances, the weight is usually almost completely on one leg or the other. Make the left foot facing away from the camera more. Other than this and a few minor things its great!
Maybe when I get a break from real life I can contribute as well.

I got selfish and had to do Laramie again. I needed a more thoughtful image of him. Cail is next I hope. I'm not so use about the arms on this one -- but the purpose of the image is his face anyhow.
