My bracers of armor +1 stack with my chain mail. Not sure if this is supposed to happen.

Bracers of Armor add +1 AC Armor modifier, the same as if the chainmail or other armor were magic had a +1 AC Armor Modifier on it, so there should be nothing wrong I don't think. Only problem I could think of is if your chainmail had a +1 AC Armor Modifier as well and the AC from the bracers stacked ontop of that.

bracers of armor should not stack with the wearing of traditional armor I believe. I dont see why it shouldnt work, realistically. But I dont think the game lets you, due to the armor bonus being the same as the bonus traditional armor gives you.

Armour, i.e. hide gives Armour Modifier +1 on armour is an Enhancement on armour Bracers of Armour are Armour modifier

so hide should gain no bonus with bracers of armour. Thing is, is it worth it? or is it just easier to restrict the placement of bracers? smack them Wizard/Sorc only and that solves Most problems rather than scripts that dont fire all the time and cause lag because they're equip/unequip scripts.
