This is a concept I should really give Haquin credit for, though most of us have probably thought about it at one point.
Wouldn't it be really interesting to have IG political parties? Heck yea! The question would really be, how would we implement something like this? How do we make it feasible, interesting, and worthwhile?
I'd love to hear people's thoughts about this before I give up hope about it ever happening.

I think this would add an element of interst to people that like Politics but also think it would add another level of complication to Sanctuary as well as make it a lot harder for new characters / people that want to run for council - it would pretty much force them to become part of a party.

If you want to try to form a political party, feel free!
Sanctuary's political system makes political parties a bit tricky, as all candidates are running against each other and so two candidates with similar platforms in the same party would split their base of support (as has happened several times now) -- this is why major political parties haven't already formed and dominated the scene -- but it's certainly something that PCs can experiment with!

Good for those who are interested. I am not one of those. But each to his/her liking, I suppose.

Between elections, without giving away too much about how the Council works on this inside, it definately does happen. To the extent, you'll have to get elected to find out!
Yes Arky, which has been some trouble in the process. Trying to work around it somehow

Arkov said exactly why my attempt to form a political party failed. Those involved basically gave the above reason.

Go at it the other direction.
Less "get so and so and whas name" elected and more "show full support for councilor's who support x policy and then influence them once they're in office.
Cover a WIDE WIDE base, so whoever does get elected supports your issue, regardless of who gets elected.

Free advice to add on to what Oro said: Don't mess with the Tigereyes/Watch/Established city factions all at once. You'll just end up having to throw yourself from a chasm in Upper.

I don't understand what you mean Kia...
Don't mess, as in don't piss them off?
- or -
Don't mess, as in don't deal with that many psychotic city defenders at once?
The prior, I agree with. The latter, not so much.

I have yet to escape tigereye wrath after messing with one or multiple. Yet I still seem to find myself coming back for another round.
