Escape the darkness! Feel the warmth of the sun on your face again! The journey of a lifetime!
Jake the Whisker is leading an expedition to the surface. This will be the first successful escape attempt since the first escape over a one hundred years ago.
Jake is looking for three or four companions willing to risk everything and capable of fighting there was to the surface.
The way will be very dangerous, and applicants should be able to defend themselves and the team. They must be experts in their chosen field of expertise, which may be thaumaturgy, chirurgeony, pugilism, spelunking, or theological intervention.
A fee of two thousand coins is also required, to cover the cost of team resources, and to acknowledge Jakes achievement in discovering a path to the world above.
Applicants should leave their name and a detailed explanation of their competencies at the Rock Bottom for Jake himself. Any accounts of their famous heroic events previously performed may be beneficial.
((OOC note this is a long DM quest. If the characters don’t turn back it will be a permanent end for them one way or another. Will be run at this coming Sat midnight GMT +0. Will be very hard, so higher lvls recommend)).

(penned benieth the origonal posters )
It appears that the citizens of sanctuary do not wish to return to there homelands? Is Sacntuary so comfortable that -none- will risk travel to the surface? On the off chance that all the interested citizens are too poor, the charge will be lowered to 1000 coins.

*The notices are tacked beside the original posters, overlapping slightly.*
Jake “Whiskers” claims he knows a way to the surface.
This may be true.
But Jake “Whiskers” isn’t a very nice bloke. He’s done stuff that got him arrested + tried.
He’s now in the shared custody of the Watch + Seekers because, by the judgement of Councilor Gaeseric the Unyielding, Jake “Whiskers” must, before the end of this tenday, he must lead a group of the willing on an expedition to the surface.
We should consider ourselves lucky, because Jake "Whiskers" was set to keep this information all to himself.
Members of the Seekers will be accompanying Jake “Whiskers” on his little trip.
Any who wish to come are welcome.
There will be absolutely no charge to join this party.
HOWEVER, all members of the expedition are expected to be well-equipped + provisioned. This should be a very dangerous journey with a very dangerous guide.
Don’t give Jake “Whiskers” money.
The surface is your right.

Unsigned addendum is contained below the Seeker's message,
Jake the Whiskers refused the option of being carried to the Surface immediately, and with no danger. He turned his back on that to aid brothers and sisters of Sanctuary in reaching it. It is his right to charge for the knowledge he has of the way. No Seekers aided him in collecting the pieces of his Stone Wheel. Where were the Seekers -then-?

Large numbers of citizens gather around the notice, discussing it in low tones.
