Green Cave spawning too few monsters

I did the green cave yesterday, my character was level 4, did it with one level 3. There were no spawns in the first cave, only two behind the mushrooms in the second, and only two greater ones and one normal in the last cave. There usually has been more.

I don't know about this one. Maybe you were lucky? :?

The quest has a few nuances at the end that make this quest plenty challenging for low level characters (2-3) which this designed, this quest is just fine I feel.

There are indeed usually only two in the first room, two in the second, and so on, and it's not much of a challenge for anyone with ranged attacks (read: everyone). I could do the quest as a level 3 rogue, with another level 3 rogue, without getting hurt (except from the ending *spoiler*).

Edit: Just to clarify things, I meant that I find the quest too easy even with all the standard spawns spawning.

Really? We had a spawn in there recently with a final battle of 6 or so of the bigger things to fight. We were hacking for about 8 minutes RL, and had a lot of almost-deaths.

Personally most of the level 2-3 quests of this nature are easy to do at that level. There are a few exceptions (portal and Hoar) which are signifcantly more challenging.

I think these low level quests should be left alone as they allow the players to have a bit mor variety at the early stages of EfU while getting the hang of how the module works.

Making the 'green cave' quest as hard as the goblin fortress, for example, isn't really necessary.

Sounds like this was just luck.
