*A letter to Mordur of the Tigereyes*

Mordur,

Today while out and about I was accosted by gnolls. Having but modest skill with a blade I opted to exit via invisibility. This ward was cast outside the city, of course, so as to remain a law abiding guest of the city thanks in no small part to the kindness of the Tigereyes.

Unfortunately a dwarf was giving some watch private some trouble. The dwarf tried to flee invisibly as well, prompting the guard to resort to a charm of some type to allow him to briefly see his invisible adversary. Inexplicably he then opted, upon spotting me to try to run me down...with no halt, or explanation given! I, of course, being a law abiding guest and knowing full well of the Watch and their penchant for beatings of citizens at random fled in utter terror. The inexperienced guard had no chance and I evaded him handily, but there is just one problem...Again they intrude and harass citizens in the lower section of town. He chased me out nearly to the docks in the canal ward! I do hope these unfortunate incursions can be put to an end before more trouble ensues between the watch and the Tigereyes.

Thank you for seeing to this, Valas the Red

Valas the Red,

I appreciate you sharing your concern. Few are brave enough to speak of the wrongs that the Watch commit. Obviously the inability to determine the difference in yourself and a dwarf is unsettling at best. Then to continue persuit in our streets without so much as a mention to us, is inexcusable. You have commited no crime and should walk tall amongst your fellows down in lower. If ever, you learn the name of this bumbling private that gave chase, please let me know. If ever the Tigers can be of service to you please ask of us. We are the cities best chance at peace.
