Bards, Bards, Bards!!!

* a poster with those words prominent on the page can be found in both inns, on all the stairwells, the townhall, and the House of Light building*

I am seeking the talents of each and every bard, dancer, singer, poet, painter, sculpter and artisan in the city for a grand even I am planning on holding in the extremely near future!

If you wish to become part of what will surely be the greatest party the city has ever thrown, send me a letter and leave it at the Rock Bottom!

Organizer:

Tarnis Westwind

Dearest Tarnis,

News of your festival fills me with solace, for Our Lady of Joy has found a new champion. Though my heart is not in it, my meager talents are now at your disposal.

May you succeed where I have failed,

Talia le Tellier

She is far from the place Where her young hero sleeps, And lovers are round her, sighing; But coldly she turns From their gaze, and weeps, For her heart in his grave is lying.

She sings the wild songs Of her dear native plains, Every note which she loved awakening – Ah! little they think Who delight in her strains, How the heart of the Minstrel is breaking.

He had lived for his love, For his city he died, They were all that to life Had entwined him – Nor soon shall the tears Of his companions be dried, Nor long will his love Stay behind him.

Oh! make her a grave Where the sunbeams rest, When they promise a glorious morrow; They'll shine o'er her sleep Like a smile from the West, From her own lonely Tower of sorrow.
