Greeting honored leaders of Sanctuary,

I am Dawnbringer Aric Willemson, and as you may be aware, have recently arrived with a party of those of my and similar faith on a most holy quest.

We are in pursuit of a holy relic of our faith, the Lens of Lathander. It was stolen by men most foul from the treasury of our Main Temple in Waterdeep, and my group has followed the culprits to a portal that led us here. We slew most of the brigands that committed this sacrilege, but several escaped and are apparently still in the area.

Any news of the location of this artifcact, or resources that we may able to add to our cause would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I have been informed that there is apparently an abandoned temple to the Morninglord somewhere in the environs outside of the town proper. It is my obvious duty to investigate this facility to determine whether or not it may be returned to a functioning church, or if perhaps we may need to establish one of our own creation. Any information or aid in this task would also be appreciated.

Further, part of my calling as a Dawnbringer is to bring the word and joy of Lathander to your citizens. I have been working on a series of events to bring some light to the otherwise dreary lives of your citizenry. The first is an archery competition, celebrating the skill and athleticism of Sanctuary's finest.

What would be necessary to host this competition in the Arena, and to have a challenging target erected in the far southern edge of the lowered vicinity for contestants to test their skills against?

We would also like to request that any Councilor interested in such an event be invited as Grand Marshall and Judge of this competition. The one who strikes the target the most consecutive times will be named the winner, and will receive half of the entrance fees collected by my person.

The other half will be used for any costs of this event, with the remainder going to a fund for the costs for the reconstruction of the abovementioned Temple, or for the contsruction of one if necessary.

I will be waiting with great joy to hear your response. Any other assistance that myself or the members of this cause can render the citizens of Santuary, or the Council itself will be gladly offered.
