The letter is written in a blocky, child-like script, and blotted over by what appears to be alcohol.
Editor Geigne,
My initiative has been started indeed to counter your Sanctuary Times, which I and a few others understand to be a biased source for the people of Sanctuary, funded and run by yourself, a member of Council. Our desire is that it be supplanted by a group that has no affiliation, therefore ensuring that our citizens receive propaganda-free information.
Nothing personal,
- Mary Ann House

Jacob reads over the note and shrugs, tossing the note off to the side. He says: "She'll figure it out that this business is trash anyways." He glances at the wall for a few moments then pens a short reply:
Mary Ann House,
I completely understand. I'll make you an offer: You can be the new Editor of the Times. I'd like to pass my project on to an enterprising individual, and you seem capable of doing so. You'll get full pay for your work and everything. I simply do not want to be the owner of the Times any longer.
Yours truly,
-J. Geigne

Dear Editor Geigne,
I accept. We must meet, to discuss this.

Mary Ann,
I'm afraid that during this election time we will not find time to talk to one another.
The Times is yours on the following conditions:
a.) My name, Jacob Geigne, will be preserved on each issue of the Times as its founder.
b.) Issues 1-5 of the Times will not be tampered in any way. You may not collect profits on these issues.
I look forward to seeing where you take the Times.
If you need any help formatting, publishing or on general management, I am willing to assist you.
Be well, be safe.
Best of luck to you.
-Jacob Geigne
