yes its the biggest opening in movie history, which may make you wary, but damn if it wasnt really stinkin good. And it had Liar's Dice (nod to thrawn)

However its kinda 2-partish like matrix 2 and 3. Unlike those though, this doesnt suck on ice.

I recommend watching it.

I liked it, although the beginning seemed a bit choppy to me. I wasn't ready for the hanging ending though. So frustrating! But yeah, it was great.

I heard they've already shot the 3rd one and that it'll come out in December. Anybody wanna verify this?

no spoilers here! though i did hear that theyre waiting a while to put out number 3 because keith richards (of the stones, sweetest rock band ever stones>beatles) didnt film his part yet due to his tree accident. depp modeled sparrow after richards, according to my movie magazine loving gf.

and its not really a cliffhanger. just a kind of "to be continued"

edit: the liars dice have so little to do with the movie, its just some game that was in it. geesh.

Saw it today. Best film i've seen in a long while. I give it 9/10.

just got back from watching it and have to say that bluntly, It rules.

Without question my favorite movie of all time. The humor, and the fights, and especially]/i] the climax with Jack were fan-freaking-tastic.

I cannot wait for the next movie.
