Letter to the Council

The letter is sealed with the Tigereye crest. Though written with fine wordsmanship, the penmanship and care with the presentation are lacking quite a bit.

On the matter of Kumagan:

On this day of Ches 24th, 1373, myself, Mercenary Nogueyra and Mercenary Balk, as well as Miquel Desand of the Tigerfang Irregular Corps arrested a man who was whitely complected, well-built, of regular height. He had a prominently glabrous pate, and appeared to be some sort of martial artist.

Just outside of Fortress Tigereye, this man appeared very intent on bringing a confrontation upon himself. Mercenary Balk and myself, as well as Tigerfang Desand warned him of his behavior several times. He insulted us repeatedly, demanded information we were not allowed to give him, or did not possess, from us, and threatened Mercenary Balk verbally with violence.

Eventually, Mercenary Balk fined him one hundred coin for the crime of public nuisance, and warned him that he could still proceed with his day without paying it if he refrained from displaying this belligerent behavior any further, and apologized to those involved. The man refused, and when Balk said he would have to physically restrain him, to remove the fine from his pouch, and give him a sentence of jail time, the man replied that he "would like to see Balk try".

Balk, Desand and myself proceeded to subduing him. We moved him inside the fortress, forcibly took the fine of one hundred coin from his person, and left him downstairs inside the dungeon to ponder on his actions for quite some time, perhaps an hour to an hour and a half. The entire time that we spent subduing him and taking the fine from his person, he blabbered about how we 'were all doomed' and 'the council would hear of this' and 'he would kill us all'.

Mercenary Balk went about his business. After we decided that he had spent enough time pondering his actions downstairs in the dungeons, we decided to release him. Tigerfang Desand and myself went downstairs to perform this procedure, but as soon as the door was opened, the man sprinkled some liquid from a bottle into his backpack, where a large and writhin object bulged. From the backpack sprang a headless zombie, which attacked us.

The man was still frail from the beating he had received, and I was capable of delivering a lethal spear wound to his chest. Desand and I ran upstairs, and enlisted the aid of wizard William, who immediately assisted us with spells. He went downstairs, and witnessed Desand and myself dispatching the zombie.

Tigerfang Thuldark was in the fortress at this moment, and obeyed her order of standing guard in the training room of the West Pavillion, should any problems arise.

Underneath, you will find my signature, attesting to the veracity of the facts here. Mercenary Balk may also attest to the veracity of the portions he was present for, if he so wishes. - Mercenary Nogueyra

PS:

I have, in my posession, several items of necromantic nature, which were found after we were able to properly search this man's remains. They will be turned in at the earliest convenience.

PPS: They have, as of this moment, been turned in to Sergeant Marshall.

[OOC:] This was written in game, in the presence of others, who signed the letter. They will post replies to the topic, featuring their signatures as soon as possible.
