I find it odd how they sell a +1 diciplin full plate for not much more (sometimes cheaper) than the duergar. I think the price of that thing needs to hike up a bit.

I thought the point was that the Surplus full plate is stupidly expensive, and that one is quite well hid. It's like a little gold mine for full plate wearers.

Its not well hid, its about as well hid as a big neon sign saying "LOOK AT ME I'M EASILY BUYABLE IN A SAFE EASILY ACCESSED LOCATION AND I'M WAY BETTER!"

But enough humour, its not actually intended i'm pretty sure, its actually ridiculas if anything its the "Mur plate" which should have that stat if its going to be cheaper. Oh and the prices are inflated above the regular charge for bad merchandise.

Struck me as a "shop around" stupid principle at work.

Or simply they produce a better product and want to sell it at a competive price.

If you read the Deugars description it says he sells his goods at a highly inflated price, so I dont see a problem with it.

I think I'm with Naga on this one.

I don't really see why this is taken so negatively. It's been said a dozen times, the duergar sells things at a high price, so why should he be considered as some kind of a standard to compare the prices to?

Secondly, it's there for everyone, so what's the hassle? I'd understand it if only a certain small group got the plates for cheap, then I'd see it as something unfair maybe. And come on, it's +1 discipline? That's worth..*checks the NWN toolset* 14 coins.
