Forgive me for rewriting another letter, there may be a sense of deja vu even though it has been so long since my last one. I had some misfortune with some insane cultists, and it's been a long time since i've last walked this mortal coil.

I had spoken with a councillor Ward i believe his name was regarding provision for the creation of an organisation of mine own. dedicated to finding a safe and true pathway out of the underdark - or at least, a way to traverse the caverns without running into the other inhabitants. I realise you already have such an organisation in the Seekers, but i also realise that their scope is much wider than what i intend. They are dedicated to freeing slaves, and actively working to stop injustice being perpetrated by Sanctuaries potential enemies. I would do nothing of this sort. My goal is singular, a way out of here.

I'll get straight to the point, i am seeking funding - or at the very least a target for me to aim for before we can obtain your backing - an objective quantified by the number of members i recruit to my causes, a worthy map, or whatever you decide qualifies for such. We don't ask for much, simple tools for mapping, equipment, cheaper potions or a deal at one of your inns.

I have in fact made some headway in this, when i stumbled across something of interest which i would be more than willing to share with your people in person, even the mayor himself may hold some curiousity about it. My run in with the cultists almost consigned the knowledge to history. Instead, i now have a chance to make amends. Casimir Grand

Thank you for your interest in helping Sanctuary. To help the Council and I make a judgement I ask:

How many people are part of your mapping project? What do you absolutely need? Why is your mapping better then what the Seekers offer?

So far, only five people can i provide as certainty as part of my group. This will change.

However, i am not claiming us to be a mapping group per say. I would speak with you in person, and take you to a place of great import (alone, or with trusted armed guards if you so wish) to give you some sort of idea of what i mean by when i say i want to make a concerted effort out of the underdark.

As to what i can offer you that the Seekers do not? A singularly oriented group, with the simple ideal of seeing the light once more. The Seekers offer Sanctuary many things, this is true, but they dilly-dally with the rescue of slaves, the right of justices outwith Sanctuaries boundaries, and more than anything else i think, they romanticise the past. The Seekers, to my mind, are an obsolete organisation that has become stale. What i propose to you is a fresh outlook.

Now. What we desire?

1 : Tools to survive in the underdark. Rings that emit light when it is needed, light pickaxes, that sort of thing.

2 : A way to defend ourselves, be it weaponry, armor, or magic, i utilise all three and encourage any of the men or women i recruit to do the same.

3 : Cheaper services in town, particularly as far as healing and places to rest are concerned
