Avery, Shareef, Jake, Kayri set off to Sewertown. We arrive in the area and see a large, custom Ogre monster standing over several dead bodies of NPC's. As I nearly died a few times, and no DM was around to tell me how or why an Ogre teleported into Sewertown, I was hoping someone here may know! Someone mentioned to me some crazy Watch bounty system with random spawning points? Just curious what's going on. Thanks.
NPC Ogre hostile in Sewertown
Just sounds like an Ogre got into the sewers somehow and opens a good IC moment...maybe a mystery or a breached tunnel? Your characters should report it to the authorities and open up an investigation that PCs can get involved with?

Or perhaps it could be a bug that the DM's would appreciate being made aware of? But I guess we wouldn't know either way unless he made this post.

That's why I posted this -- no DM's were around, or had even heard of it to give clues, plot hints if it was intended.. etc. Just curious!
I Believe, it's part of a quest but it's set up incorrectly. Timmon's Watch Quest for someone who isn't sure what they're trying to fix.
If this wasnt a bug, sewertown would be changed forever, since it cleaned up over 1/2 the name NPCs before we took it down...
I realize it to be an obvious problem (likely unintended by DMs)...I just thought it made for an interesting opportunity to alert Santuary of a newfound nuisance. NPCs killing NPCs does not make for a very stable PW I imagine.
oh trust me that we don't need another nuisance in Sanctuary right yet....one of my characters is already heavily involved in a plot that's sure to pain the town green if my character and his friends can't stop their nusance.
Alright, we get it!
Thank you for the report.
It's probably spawning the guy in the "hostile" faction rather than in a faction where the other NPCs will ignore him.
I'm locking this to prevent it from going further off-topic.
