*letter to Councilor Geigne from Aric*

Councilor,

I was unaware that the male elf that attacked, mugged and beat into unconsciousness several members of our party was captured then tried.

I saw his face, and can identify him quite easily. We had an altercation when I asked him to what faith he ascribed himself, and he cursed at me and insulted all of mankind and ridiculed our Pantheon of Supreme Beings such as the Morninglord. At that point, I refused to bless him with good Lathander's power, and I'll never forget the look of pure hatred upon his twisted visage.

I fell in combat to monsters that were like large rats that walked and fought like men. I noticed that both elves were holding back from the fray, but I was sorely pressed and was battling desparately for my life. Unfortunately it proved too much for me handle and I was knocked to the ground and blacked out.

Somewhat later, I slowly awoke to see both elves looting the packs of Mika and Samus, and saw the male with his back to me. Then she saw that I was awake rushed to me and I hastily tried to escape. Due to my grievous wounds, I managed only a few steps, and with his face a horrid rictus of evil, the male elf drove his long doubled ended sword into my back, and I knew no more.

I awoke in the Mausoleum and can only assume that the Morninglord had more for me to do on this world. And sent my spirit back to my tortured flesh.

Members of the House of Light healed my horrible wounds, and my companions returned my effects to me

My gratitude for all involved is immense.

Dawnbringer Willemson,

Thank you for your testimony. Should the other witness that did not attend the trial testify against the elf as you have then the elf will be punished accordingly.

Your councilor, -J. Geigne
