Nero24200 PMd me about the offensive advertisment posted in the Offtopics section of the forum as he thought I was a general moderator.
I am a moderator for a faction froum only.
I would happy to offer my services as a general moderator for the Off topics section etc to delete these kind of posts and ban people that post them - I work in GMT +8 timezone and monitor the forums when Most DMs are asleep.
If I can be of help in this regard let me know.

If anyone familiar with the forum software we use wants to research a way to make it so people have to put in that little graphic code (or some other technique to minimize spam bots) that'd be great if they contacted us though.

I think that I had somebody confirm that it's working, also, but I can do that again!
We do appreciate the offer to help. In the future, though, the "DM Q&A" forum isn't really the best place to make such an offer; this forum is more for rules clarifications and questions about the setting. Email would be preferred.
