As you may have heard, on an expedition that set out to capture the fugitive Rau, Society of the Ordered Mind member and faithful citizen of Sanctuary, Pywen, was murdered by the flayer Intryzz with the assistance of the goblin fugitive Squeagle as well as the halfling Rau.

I am not certain why the flayer has initiated this attack on one of our citizens, but I for one do not take this lightly. It is not my decision to take action against someone that has left our town in relative peace for some time. However, the flayer has now clearly murdered one of our citizens, and justice should be sought.

If a decision is made on how to deal with the situation, I'd be grateful to hear it. Leave any correspondence for Grey Jenkins at the bar in Seeker's Hall.

What were the circumstances of this situation? I'd appreciate more information before you expect us to reach a decision. If you feel there is an immediate danger to the populace of Sanctuary, I can encourage the Council to issue a decree declaring the Pyrimo Inn off-limits to our citizens, but otherwise I feel that more information is needed before we can even begin to really consider what you are asking of us.
