*Letters to Tarnis and Meriam left at RBI*

My friends,

I'd like to apologize for my rash reaction to the deaths of my kinsman.

[letter sent to Tarnis] Tarnis, I feel that you were insensitive to my grief, and praise to the Mother that I did not attack you there in the Rock Bottom as most of my kinsman would have after your comments that night.

But as you are a hin, I realize that you may react differently to the loss of kinsman as we do, so I forgive your unintentional provocations and lack of respect at such a trying moment.

[letter sent to Meriam] Meriam, I thank you for your calming presence and helping my faculties to return before I did something inexcusable to my friend, and even worse, break the law and my vows as Faenor.

To both Tarnis and Meriam, I have found some good news. My consultations with the Priests of Grumbar have revealed that it may be possible to revive the valiant Stouthearts that fell defending the town of Sanctuary.

We were there in Meriam's time of need and I myself donated 500 gold to the ressurection of her poor soul back to the loving arms of Tarnis. To see his joy when she was returned to him was a beautiful thing to witness.

I ask that the favor be returned and that you contribute a similar amount so that my beloved kinsman might also be returned as good Meriam was.

I hope that my actions borne of grief and despair do not cloud your eyes at the need of my kin and clan to have two of our best returned to us. And yes, two of my good friends and loyal companions.

Will be about town and hope that you will contribut in our time of need as we did to yours.

// oops, wrong thread.

*letter recieved by Tarnis, return letters are left at both inns and an extra one tacked to the door of tornbeard hall*

Mr. Rollo Stoneshield,

I would too like to apologize for how I reacted. I was only upset that you were yelling at my friends. Though, in hindsight, it was understandable and the reaction was probably not directed at them, but more at the situation and the news you had recieved.

I accept your apology if you are willing to accept mine as well.

As far as returning your friends to the land of the living, I will also aid in reviving both of them, as you so kindly did for the sweet miss meriam.

Please let me know, where and when I can meet you to give you my contribution as the stouts are as much my friends as they are your brothers in arms.

Greviously and Sincerely,

Tarnis Westwind
