For Mercenary Nogüeyra

Mercenary Nogüeyra,

When can I expect those files? To remind you:

    * Any notes regarding the drow, Zau. * Any notes on Tobias Breen, including documents regarding extra income. * Any document regarding fines, to spot any further extortion efforts. The previously mentioned financial documents will come in handy for this. Specifically, fines collected by the mercenary Namli. * Any notes or information regarding Sewer Town. * Any documents of pardoning.

I would like them as soon as possible to be presented before the Council for debate, as well as an official statement regarding the Times Article One, Volume Five.

The Sanctuary Times Volume Five Article I: Tigereye Misconduct Anonymous Submission

It is an unfortunate state of affairs that there are people who would deliberately try to alter the outcome of an election. Take the gnome Zan, who attacked candidate Rilo Manasi in an attempt to scare him out of the elections. However, Rilo was brave enough to announce before the public that people were trying to rig the election and demanded that action be taken against them.

There's an interesting story behind Zan. Following Rilo's announcement, Times Editor Jacob Geigne and Luminary Mylin of the House of Light apprehended him under orders by the Spellguard. When returning, they were stopped by the Tigereyes, who took custody of the gnome. The mercenaries demanded a warrant from the Spellguard, who responded by requesting the criminal be held until they returned. However, upon returning, they found that Zan had been released by Tigereye Commander Zerelde Geirdriful, in direct defiance of the warrant filed. It has come to our attention that this isn't even the first time the Tigereyes have done such acts.

Consider the criminal Vara. A Spellguard Agent and member of the Watch were making an arrest in Lower Sanctuary, but were met with resistance. The Tigereyes stepped in, but instead of helping they turned and attacked the Watchman. What can we conclude from this? The mercenaries are more interested in assaulting Watchmen then stopping dangerous criminals!

Later, Tigereye Mercenaries watched with amusement as two men by the names Chell and Nimrod blasted at each other with magics in an unwarded area. They're willing to endanger the entire city and all our very lives by allowing these things to go on in our streets!

The list goes on: Citizen Kudur was killed by Tigereye Mercenary Namli. Why? No reason at all! The Tigereyes kill citizens on so much as a whim!

Namli later attacked a halfling named Frelt after he paid a fine for a false crime. Namli also confessed to taking part in the House of Light bombing. He -demanded- a daily tribute in Protection fees, or else he would continue such bombings. These mercenaries are here to line their pockets, not to protect us.

Mercenary Terio Menthur resisted arrest for magic usage in the streets and escaped multiple times. Menthur was later caught spying on Spellguard Agents. These devils have no regard for the law.

Watchmen have reported being attacked by Tigereye Commander Zerelde Geirdful for no reason! The Tigereye Mercenaries have no regard for their fellow lawmen. It is noteworthy to know that Zerelde Geirdful is currently exiled from Upper Sanctuary.

The Tigereye have protected criminals such as Bug and Skraggit for money. Remember Zan? The Tigereye protected him too; thus, we can conclude that the Tigereye are responsible for any attempts to rig the Alturiak Elections.

Lastly, many men have reported being -tortured- by the Tigereye for information extraction. One of those men being former Golden Doubloon Danael Royce.

The Tigereye are corrupt. They are endangering Sanctuary. They are here for their own profit. They are mercenaries and should be treated as such.

Do we want a law enforcement agency who attacks Sanctuary, protects criminals, breaks laws, accepts bribes and tortures its own citizens? It is time for the people of Lower Sanctuary to throw out the Tigereye! It is time for the people of Lower Sanctuary to police themselves! It is time that the people of Lower Sanctuary get their say, and get it out loud!

TIGEREYE OUT!

Article authorized by Councilor Geigne to be commented by the Tigereye Mercenary Group.

Mercenary Noguerya,

The Council and myself were hoping that you would get these documents in before the investigation became official, which it is now.

When can we expect these documents? If we don't receive them soon then we will send the Watch and scribes down to get it ourselves.

For reference, here is the act regarding the Tigereye Investigation:

Certain documents related to topics listed below within the Tigereye Fortress will become open for a full Council Review to check for widespread corruption of the Tigereye Mercenary Group.

These documents will be requested by the Tigereye immediately, but by supporting this proposal we will also gain rights to send scribes to search the Tigereye Fortress for files regarding specific topics and to legalize Watch check-up of the Tigereye Fortress at any moment by request of the council until the investigation is closed. We will only send scribes after we have requested the documents from the Tigereye themselves.

Please be timely, Your councilor, -J. Geigne
