I think Bane should be given the Strength domain.
It fits his dogma definetly, and three of his 5 domains (Hatred, Tyranny and Law) can't be selected in NWN. That means every Banite cleric will have to go Destuction and Evil.
Given the Strength domain's viability, dogma wise, could it be granted as an option for Bane, in lieu of the three domains a cleric should be able to but can't choose from?
Oh yeah, is this even possible to do?

We would like to stick to the canon groupings most of the time. However, look for bane to get a boost without the strength domain coming soon.

The Strength domain represents worship of physical strength. The deities involved in such are mainly deities of war or battle, such as Tempus, Garagos, Uthgar, Baghtru, etc.
I don't think Bane fits into that category at all. For him, physical strength is just a means to accomplish an end, not an end unto itself -- and even then, I'd imagine he supports manipulation and psychological tyranny over simple violence.
If there's any domain that a deity should have in NWN that it does not have, I'd say that's the Air domain. Since the Storm domain is not in NWN, clerics of Talos have no lightning spells at all, which I think is stupid: they should be allowed to pick the Air domain for that reason. But that hardly matters a lot in the Underdark, however... just making an observation.

I'd like to echo that, and say that this boost should resolve the concerns that prompted the suggestion. :)
