A few bugs;
If you persuade the quest giver to sell it to you for a 100 and you don't have enough, you still get the map and lose all the gold.
Sometimes, the pitfalls don't work (the pit appears, but you won't fall)
You can't add party members to the quest

I'll look into the persuade check.
I've had the pits do that on occasion in heavy lag. I believe it's mostly a lag issue.
Adding party members on this one is tricky. The quest is "completed" by leaving the quest area. This would make going back for help more complicated. I do have a difference I'd like to do with this quest that will make it more possible. I should put it on my to-do list. From an RP perspective, there is no reason for the questgiver to allow adding, since he sells you the map and washes his hands of things.

she just meant, that we hadn't even gone to the tomb yet, and we couldn't add a member that we found just after we had already taken the quest.
It's awkward if you find new party member just after you've taken it, and can't take him with you if he can't get in.

Once I change the quest so that the map actually is the questgiver, and the current questgiver is just more of a merchant, then this shouldn't be a problem. I'll likely make this change in my next set of changes when I try to get more of the caravan quest in.

When you take the quest, nothing happens. No journal update or entry. You do get the map though.
Also when you use the map it says the quest's maximum level size is 0.

The way this should be working is as follows:
1) You are sold the map, this give no quest entry, you just have the map.
2) Using the map will initially give the quest, and is used to add people to the quest.
I'm trying to track down why it thinks the max level is 0 on the map. The variable is definately set, so something else is causing the issue.

I think that I remember hearing Thrawn mention that he made progress on this recently. Not sure what the current status is.

The item giving quest rather than person is a nice twist on the quest giver.
It's even possible that at the chest of the end of one quest, theres an item that GIVES you the way into another quest. (and you can start this at any time later unless you;ve done it, once you START the quest the item is destroyed (or converted into a non-quest giving item so you cant just hand it to somebody else though this may be wanted)
(maybe just finding a key to an area you havent been into that opens the quest for the party)

Bumping this up; this quest still has issues.
I'm temporarily removing the questgiver for now, until it's fixed.

I'm going to make this my #1 priority. I miss this quest. This is my favorites of the ones I did originally. Just saw my first fedex quest is now dead. (No blue mushroom to deliver goods) so I need to get my quests going again.
I found the fix for the level 0 thing before leaving a few months. Couldn't remember if it went in.

Is this working? I put the quest-giver back in place.

I have reports that this is working.
Anyhow, it's time we had a new thread for Arga bugs.
