We all know that Tigereye Zerelde had repeated contact with Zau the drow (I really wish this didn't rhyme, it makes him sound much more like a fictional character). The Spellguard would like any information the Tigereyes have on this individual, and please don't feign ignorance like so often in the past, I know there are more members of the Tigereyes than Zerelde that have been associating with the drow.

Also, any information you have on Breen would be appreciated.

I have been told by many that claims were made that Zerelde had contact with drow. I have never witnessed first hand this claimed contact. Save, for a few instances long ago. There were once drow merauders that sailed the dark lake. You may remember the Blue Mushroom being attacked long ago. It was believed these merauders were the cause. Zerelde spearheaded the counter attacks that brought these drow to their graves. She had many drow enemy at this time. Many fell to her blade. She was made a prize to be captured by the few that remained. She had many drow enemy, so I would not know why she would dare ally with others.

Let me say this. My city of birth was ravaged by drow. I tried to warn them and stop this attack. With out boring you with the details, I was exiled for my actions. Because of this, my city was destroyed by their kind. This was well known by my commrades. If any did have contacts with the drow you seek, I was kept in the dark. I suspected Namli of questionable actions, but he is dead so it matters not. Some claim that patrick worked with them, but I can honestly say that he did not. During the time when he was suspected by some, he was busy in his study. He had been working on a project to build our defences in lower, so that we could better avoid invasions or other more minor problems. He was intent on finishing his project, working on it tirelessly. In part, that project is why we now have better defences at the gate.

As for information on the criminals you seek, i am awaiting files from the Watch on those recently warranted. I am told that the man named Breen is a druid. I believe he spends little time in the city. He is known to have a staff the seems to drips a, seemingly endless, stream of maggots. Not a device that many, if any other than him, carry. I believe I have seen this man in the sewers in the ruins. I have never seen his face. As for Zau, I have been attempting to collect information on him. There was a murder in the sewers a few weeks ago that resulted with a dead drow. This may have been one of his men. The murderer was and is still unknown. From what I have gathered, his network may consist of at least a dozen. To what extent I know not. Ithvar, the elf I killed that had the associates tunic I gave back to you, was an exile of his organization. What his intents are are unknown to me. To my knowledge, no one has seen his face. I have questioned some who claim to have been in his presence, and none can supply a description beyond armor. I was once tracking a few men I thought to be curious in action and presentation. I tracked them out the city, but they were spooked by a group of Watch and Seekers heading out of town. I may have had more for you if not for that.

The problem I see with most of that which plagues our city is that there is no hard evidence. All hear say. I have not seen the files from the watch or your organization on any matter that has come up. That is not to say that we are master scribes ourselves. Many of my commrades keep sloppy books if any. Ganden for example was illiterate. I wish not to see another city under my guard to fall victim to drow. I would like to see the Spellguard and Watch to be examples of what they demand from others. We are to aid you with information, but we recieve not the same pleasantries. In light of that, I still help how I may. I would hope others would resipricate. I believe you still owe my some files yes?
