*A letter to the Council*

A letter is dropped to the Council chambers in the Town Hall by a man with blond hair and blood-stained plate.

Esteemed Councillors,

My name is Hrothgar Skret. The purpose of my writing to you is two-fold.

Firstly, to inform you that it is my wish to form a Warriors Guild here in Sanctuary. This guild will mainly function as most guilds do. It will be a brotherhood of warriors who will band together for mutual protection and interests. We will train together, hold tournaments to test and improves each others skill at arms, exchange resources and information together, etc. The guild will be funded by its members, for the most part, and will ensure that all who join will be outfitted satisfactorily. The guild will also be backed by the Church of Garagos, which has been formed recently by myself and a number of warriors sworn true to the Reaver.

I write also with a few questions in mind. For this guild to be created and run properly and efficently, it will need a base of operations. Currently, the only building which is available for such is the old hospital, the Steady Hand. Unfortunately, Mr. Portnom has withdrawn his offer of leasing it. Ideally, we would need a building big enough for storage of arms and armour, an arena ring, a meeting area and sleeping quarters, as well as a shrine to Garagos. Thus, I would ask of any information pertaining to any appropriate buildings which have, or will have in the near future, their deeds for sale.

The Sanctuary Warriors Guild which I hope to create will, in addition to its aforementioned basic tenants, also operate for the defense and security of Sanctuary. This will be a prominent facet of its existence. If created, the guild could be relied upon always to uphold the security and safety of Sanctuary and its citizens. In times of war or unrest, the Warriors Guild will be the first and last force to take to or leave the field. Furthermore, the Guild will likely also take aboard mercenary contract work, with first preferences always going to the Council and thus the city.

Any information, in addition to that of buildings selling or available for lease as mentioned before, which the Council may find helpful and relevant to my goals and situation (liscencing, for example) would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

*signed* Bloodreaver Skret.

The letter languishes for a time, before an old, grizzled former soldier of the Watch pens a quick reply.

Bloodreaver:

I would recommend requesting permission from the Council to take over the maintenance of the Upper Sanctuary Arena. There is interior space directly beneath the arena pit that although very crude, could be re-fitted to serve your purposes.

Edgar Hallows

Mr. Hallows,

Your reply is much appreciated. I shall do this.

Many thanks,

Bloodreaver Skret.
